Rock n Roll

Rock n Roll is a 1km, blue square, technical XC trail, the last 650m of which is more technical descent than climb. Some climbing, small rock gardens, technical sections and a timber bridge all await riders on Rock n Roll. Commencing near the Frenzy road gap, the trail can also be accessed from the end of Reaper, the end of Calibre down or from Giblets, affording riders the opportunity to incorporate it to form part of a number of stacked lower park stages. One particularly enjoyable long stage commences at the North Face picnic table, and follows Highlife, Viper, Giblets link, Giblets, Rock n Roll.

Annexed off from the original Rollercat in 2013, in order to make stacked loops, suggestions for the name of the trail were wide and varied. Wombat, Sudden Impact, Rocky Bottom, and Fries were all contenders. The winning name however, suggested by former long serving TMBC Executive member Jason Scholfield was Rock n Roll; with the new trail being part Rollercat and incredibly rocky.
