Rollercat

Building upon the success of Mackenzie Frenzy, the fledgling TMBC hired some heavy equipment circa 2005, and got back to work, this time on a blue square intermediate XC trail in the lower park. Construction was fast and loose during the build, WHS wasn’t really a thing in trail building in those days, and the bobcat rolled a few times, so to the name of the trail. Riders are in for something special on Rollercat, and this is partially due to the designer being more of a DH racer than a XC lad. Rollercat has undergone quite a few upgrades and partial rebuilds since it was first constructed, and riders can choose a few variations on how they choose to ride it. Ride the entire trail for a 2.4 km loop, stick to the bottom by utilising the RC shortcut for a 1.5km lower loop, or stay up the top and do flowy loops of the “Root Canal” a series of high speed berms that seamlessly link together. Riders can also enter the Rollercat descent via Highlife for one hell of a descent down to the Amos road gazebo. This is Rollercat…..You’re Welcome.
