Canyonero

When you ask locals what their three favourite Jubes trails are, more often than not Canyonero will be in their list. There is just something about this trail that everyone loves. It is fast, it is flowy, and it gets a bit wild in places. With 132m of elevation loss over its 1.4km length, riders can expect high speed off camber, loose corners, a rock garden, a drop or two and a hell of a lot of fun on this Blue Square intermediate trail.

Opened in January 2014, it is a machine built trail by Trailworx. Three shortlisted names were put out to the membership for a vote. The shortlisted names were Canyonero with 21 votes, Gorgeous Gorge with 17, and Razorback with 5. Canyonero won the vote, and the name comes from a Simpson’s episode of the same name.

Riders can turn left at the end of the trail and follow the fire road up past Reaper to the North Face section of the park, where access to Highlife, Ida, and Calibre Down can be found. Alternatively, continue on into Centrelink to get to the bottom of the park.
