Dirty Granny

Constructed by Trailworx and TMBC Volunteers in 2015. Dirty Granny is a two way, 1.4km long green circle trail, and the 2nd trail (Centrelink, Granny, Anonymous, Defibrillator) in the main arterial climb route from Amos Road to Bridge Street.

Granny links in with the end of Centrelink, and terminates at the Grassy Knoll. With 100m of elevation loss over the trails length, Granny is also a fun descent, and is a great trail to use to develop the skills required to ride Canyonero. Riders are reminded that etiquette dictates that descending riders give way to climbing riders; so it is best practice to descend Granny at a safe speed.

The trail was named so as when it was first constructed, many riders were unable to climb the trail without being in the granny gear, an option verging on sacrilege amongst the XC community.
